The children at the middle school worked hard to prepare for their 50s dance party that was underway. One thing they were worried about was the detroit party band. Wondering if the other students would understand why they opted to hire a band over a DJ. After the band started playing, they noticed the kids were a bit confused with the music and started teaching them the dances of the 50s that went with the music they were playing. The kids had a great time and talked about the dance for the next couple of weeks. It’s great to see them have diversity.
