I had just finished doing the inevitable new york city wedding photographer circuit for our upcoming wedding. I contacted one photographer, whose work I LOVED, and asked her for an estimate. I couldn’t afford her, so I moved on. But everyone I interviewed just didn’t stack up. Her responsiveness, her talent and her personality kept drawing me back in. I finally decided I had to have her. I was right. She was worth every penny. I never actually interviewed her in person I knew she was meant to be my wedding photographer. Our communications were via email only, and I never really spoke with her at all. But I knew, in the way she responded, and after seeing her work and reading about her on the bridal boards, she was the one. It was a splurge, but we love our pictures and the new friendship we have with her.
