Thoughts On “Gingrich vs. Courts”
My son is a white male and in America does not enjoy equal protection under the laws exactly because he is a white male. The court has chosen to make social policy because they do not like the society the free individuals of America have established not because the plain language of the Constitution of the United States required such rulings. Instead we have a school of legal advice forum thought in many elite universities that says it doesn’t matter what was written or understood at the time of writing (check out Roe v Wade and the dissent). As long as liberals want to follow a legal framework that includes judges deciding the law based on how society has evolved, or what foreign courts have to say, or what seems particularly humane in their own mind we will have calls to return the courts to their proper role.
Gingrich shows a lot of courage in addressing a big problem in America’s current governmental framework.
