In a study conducted by the American Psychological Association the ratio of those who suffer from panic attack is 1:75 and it is twice likely to happen among women than in men. Rapid heart rate, sudden bouts of terror, shortness of breath hot flashes and fear of another attack are just a few of the many symptoms of panic attack. What cause panic attack? Menopausal stage among women is said to be one of the causes of panic attack. Women in this stage often feel extreme anxiety, hot flashes, unfounded fear and the sensation that something wrong is going on in their body.
