One of the most popular kitchen materials to work with is granite.  My sister decided to replace her counters with a granite countertop.  It is easy to work with and it is very durable.  It is something that we have seen in some really nice homes.  I think that it gives the room a more modern look and it is so easy to clean.  She is so proud of her kitchen and she really did a great job with it.  She says that she has received a lot of compliments from her friends and other family members.  I want to get this type of counter also.
