The different tile shades of Expanko cork flooring are produced through a unique baking process without the use of dyes or stains. Most of the existing patterns go all the way through the tile, making the tile available for several refinishes. The darker shades are baked more thoroughly, making the color go all the way through. You can reapply polyurethane finish every two or more years depending on your good judgement. A wax finish may be used also as an alternative to polyurethane finish. After refinishing, simple sweeping and damp mopping are the only things to be done for proper maintenance.
