After years of battling the system, disabled people are finally getting what they need to accommodate them.  There are still improvements to be made, but the area of handicap shower stalls has come a long way since they first were introduced.  I take care of my aunt who is stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of her life, and between the two of us we found a great shower for her to use.  It is convenient for her and it allows her to remain independent a little longer.  I do help her get in and out of it, but she can still wash herself.
