Once I went to my local pet store to buy a parakeet. I wanted to surprise my cousin for his birthday. I got to talking with the shop owner, and it turns out he used to be a software engineer. His specialty was developing spyware adware removal software, but he got burned out after a few years. It seemed that every time he’d finish a project, there would be a whole new generation of spyware and adware programs that he would be called on to defeat. He said owning a pet shop was much more relaxing and fun that trying to continuously fight Internet hackers.
