It says there are messages, but I don't see them. Where are they?

When you look at a specific forum, say, "Comedy Shop," and it says there are 50-60 topics, why do you only see 7 or 8? If you look at the bottom of the page, you will see a dropdown list that allows you to limit the timeframe for which topics are displayed. So, if you set that to "All" you will see all the topics. However, if you limit it to the last week or the last month, you will only see those most recent topics.
