The great city of Diablo, Washington has been omitted from your list of Whatcom county cities.
It seems that everybody but a handful of us forget that the center of our county is located in Diablo.
This is my campaign to make Diablo the county seat, since it is in the center of the county.
This city periodically is blocked off from the rest of civilization by either snow or rockslides. Access is by helicopter only in those circumstances.
The road to Winthrop which passes through Diablo is probably one of the best Motocycle runs. Make sure you fuel up in Rockport, first. But I'd wait for a few months now, to ride to Winthrop...
