I am a Gonzaga Basketball Fan,
I am a Cougar Baseball Fan.
I am a Western Washington University Fan.
I am a Bells Fan. I need to see a game of our local semi pro football team, still.
(I bet it won't take long to be a fan!)
I am a Mariners and Seahawks Fan.
I play in an Adult Baseball League.
I love sports as much as I love motocycle ridin'.

Anyway, Last week I needled the fellow who is in charge of programing at KPUG and pestered him as to why they are snubbing the triple A team that they should be showcasing.
He let me know about fairness and equality, etc.
He also let me know that very few folks in the area want to hear Ferndale doing windsprints against these Seattle teams.
Gee, and I heard all the big boyz say shorecrest was supposed to put Ferndale in their place.
I guess they did.
They let Ferndale place themselves top of the conference.
And ferndale did exactly what the dude from KPUG told me...They ran windsprints and scored over 60 points, decimating who was supposed to be a state caliber team.
So if it's all about fairness, why doesn't KPUG cover the Lummi Blackhawks?
They are the only team in this county to go to 3 State Championship games in a Row from Whatcom County.
KPUG and ALL the cascade Radio group stations will not even cover them once during the Regular Season. This is fair?
I let them know how I feel.
I would much rather listen to the Blackhawks or the Golden Eagles than sniveling 'progressive' drivel at KBAI.
What a better use for that station on Friday nights! Black Hawk Football.
Talk about a team that does windsprints for touchdowns!

oh yeah...and all the other teams in Whatcom County...
