A pro-life student group from UCLA went undercover and called Planned Parenthood offices around the country asking to donate money specifically to fund abortions for black babies. They intentionally played this as racists who didn't want black children to be born, a response Planned Parenthood said is "understandable." This is pretty sick stuff. Check it out here: Planned Parenthood Article

I'd be very interested to hear tapes of these conversations. I'd be very upset if the conversation was truly racist...but is there a chance it was portrayed or perhaps understood by PP that there are funds available to help their black clients vs. targeting blacks? I'm not convinced without hearing the full tapes...and not soundbytes.

It's pretty rediculous...and that's beside the fact that you and I get to help fund this murdering machine (PP) through our taxes with no say whatsoever. I really wish our reps and senators would grow a pair and cut off the funding for this sort of thing.

Planned parenthood does a lot more than perform abortions and I have no problem with some of my tax dollars educating men, women and teens about STDs, HIV, safe sex, family planning and overall health issues. A good many clients are able to receive education about sex and sexuality along with contraceptions that they may not be able to receive otherwise. Education and contraceptions do go a long way to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

Brat,
You're correct that there are more items on the PP menu, educational and whatnot. Yet, we both know that the big ticket item for PP is abortion. That's their bread and butter.
I don't know how we would ever get recordings of these phone conversations, but the implications of this are disgusting.
